Testing Grounds was a modular platform, a shifting ecosystem of ideas. Designed and curated by Rachel Mortlock, Hsi-Nong Huang, Janek Nixon  and India Stanbra, this exhibition invited artists to showcase an experiment, or an emerging idea as part of a collaborative structure.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, the structure will evolved, with the potential for sections to be shifted or rearranged, allowing the works to overlap and intertwine. In this way Testing Grounds aimed to facilitate a shifting discourse, encouraging a multitude of encounters with the works.
