Need sleep.

After struggling for what felt like hours - but was closer to minutes - I managed to fall asleep.

I was paralysed. My eyes could not switch focus.

There was a heavy

sensation in my stomach. I could feel something.

Struggling to sleep, now struggling to wake.

My

fear made me jolt upright.

The colour faded and began to drip.

I am petrified...

Why am I still falling?

The tension between my hand and t

he floor became unbearably painful.

The pain sharpened.

Pulled me up. But, before I could feel safety,

I fell back down again,

This time to a floor far away.

As soon as my face made contact

I woke in a startled sweat, my whole body tense.
